On the beach in Santa Monica there was this great memorial for all of the lives lost in Iraq, thus far. They had a cross representing every life and they also had each name listed. While Dave was in Iraq in 2006 he lost 6 guys, so we found their names and paid our respects. It was nice to see the memorial but also very daunting!
